Description

Automation Tester responsible for testing API changes and developing and maintaining test automation. You will create Java automated tests with Cucumber, RestAssured, and JUnit 5, prepare and run test plans, coordinate deployments to environments, and monitor environment stability. The role also uses AI tools to build and evolve test factories by generating test scenarios and supporting automation framework maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of API changes using Postman or Bruno

• Use AI tools to build and develop test factories (automate test creation, generate test scenarios) and support maintenance and development of automation frameworks

• Create and maintain automated tests

• Develop automated tests in Java using Cucumber, RestAssured, and JUnit 5

• Prepare test plans and conduct test execution

• Coordinate releases across multiple environments

• Monitor environment stability

• Create and manage jobs in Jenkins

• Ensure solution quality at every stage of the project

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automation Test Engineer

• Practical Java programming experience

• Working knowledge of Kafka

• Very good understanding of REST APIs (REST structure, requests, and mapping to class objects)

• Practical AI testing automation experience for test factories and scenario generation

• Experience with Postman or Bruno

• SQL experience with Informix and/or PostgreSQL

• Experience with Cucumber, RestAssured, and JUnit 5

• Experience with Lombok and Allure

• Basic knowledge of Spring Boot and RestTemplate/RestClient

• Swagger knowledge

• Understanding of the Request Object Pattern

• Basic UML knowledge and ability to read flow diagrams

• Practical knowledge of API testing methods
