Description

You will join a team developing a Data Warehouse environment. The role focuses on building reusable SAS/Oracle tools for developers, integrating systems via APIs, optimizing data processing, and testing new technologies. You will also support data quality with auditing/monitoring, and develop technical data marts and BI reporting components.

Responsibilities

• Create shared, reusable components and developer tools in SAS, SAS Viya, and Oracle

• Build APIs and integration components connecting data solutions

• Develop tools for data exchange between systems (file integrations, APIs, and streaming with Kafka)

• Run proof of concept work for new tools/technologies (e.g., SAS Viya, Oracle Exadata, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI)

• Build monitoring for user activity and support data quality, auditing, and process maintenance

• Develop dictionary/master-data related system functionality (Sanmargar Metastudio 4)

• Optimize Data Warehouse processing and automate maintenance tasks

• Build technical data marts, BI reports, and components supporting data processing

• Support strategic projects in technology, integrations, and data architecture

Requirements

• Practical experience building and developing data warehouses

• Very good knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL (Oracle Exadata is an advantage)

• Experience designing and implementing ETL, data modeling, and data flow processes

• Hands-on experience with SAS and SAS Viya (DI Studio, Enterprise Guide, SAS Studio, Visual Analytics)

• CI/CD knowledge and tools: Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo, JIRA

• Practical experience with automation of the production process

• Ability to design analytical solutions, technical data marts, BI reports, and supporting components
