Description

You will work on the analytical core of a financial organization—the data warehouse environment. Your mission is to proactively improve and tune ETL processes and the Oracle database, while also supporting production incidents through monitoring and log analysis. The role is designed for structured, predictable working hours.

Responsibilities

• Support, modify, and optimize ETL data flows using IBM InfoSphere DataStage and Ab Initio

• Perform tuning of complex SQL queries and optimize PL/SQL stored procedures in Oracle 19c

• Improve performance of table structures

• Proactively monitor the production environment; analyze system logs and handle L2/L3 incidents (debugging and fixing failures)

• Implement new business requirements, expand the data model, and ensure data consistency feeding the warehouse

• Ensure continuity during daily on-call rotations with flexible start times

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience developing, administering, or maintaining Data Warehouse/data repository environments

• Very good practical Oracle database engine knowledge

• Experience creating and optimizing SQL queries

• PL/SQL programming skills for stored procedures and performance optimization

• Practical experience with Ab Initio and IBM DataStage

• Analytical troubleshooting skills for production issue diagnosis

• Independence, accuracy, and ownership of assigned processes
