Description

Lead the Group’s data transformation by creating and delivering the data strategy and a Data Governance model. Define and implement Data Governance standards including Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage, and co-create the target data architecture and data ecosystem. Prepare data to scale AI/ML and advanced analytics while building a data-driven culture and collaborating across the business, IT, AI, and Cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute the Group data strategy
• Design and implement a Data Governance model
• Define the Data Governance framework, including standards for Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage
• Co-create the target data architecture and data ecosystem
• Prepare data to scale AI, ML, and advanced analytics
• Build a data-driven culture and develop Data Literacy
• Collaborate with the Board, business, IT, AI, and Cybersecurity

Requirements

• Prior Chief Data Officer experience (CDO) — minimum 5 years documented experience in Data (or equivalent) with comparable scope in a large organization
• Documented experience building and implementing data strategy and Data Governance
• Experience managing data transformation across multiple business units
• Practical knowledge of Data Management, Data Quality, and Data Architecture
• Experience building a Data Ownership model and working with business data owners
• Understanding how data is used for AI/ML and GenAI
• Experience collaborating with the Board and C-level executives
• Ability to connect business, organizational, and technology perspectives
• Advantage: experience in energy or another large regulated sector
