Description

Lead and shape future-state architecture across the data platform landscape with a delivery-focused mindset. Drive build vs. buy assessments, provide strategic architectural direction to delivery/technology teams, and ensure alignment to the Group Data Platform strategy. Support the transition from current to target-state architecture by identifying dependencies and risks while considering low-code/no-code options and supporting the wider AI agenda.

Responsibilities

• Define and shape future-state architecture across the data platform landscape
• Lead and support build vs. buy assessments with clear recommendations
• Provide strategic architectural direction to delivery and technology teams
• Ensure solutions align with the Group Data Platform strategy
• Assess how existing platforms and capabilities evolve to meet future requirements
• Consider data consumer needs when making architectural decisions
• Support transition from current to target-state architecture (dependencies and risks)
• Resolve architectural conflicts and competing priorities across teams
• Evaluate the role of low-code/no-code technologies in the future-state
• Stay aware of the wider AI agenda to ensure platform decisions support initiatives
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Architecture, Data, Technology, and the business
