Description

Responsible for being the Manager on Duty when management is not on site. You’ll support daily studio operations, manage opening/closing checklists, deliver high-level customer hospitality, oversee retail area presentation, and assist instructors with class check-in.

Responsibilities

• Serve as MOD when the management team is not on the premises

• Regularly communicate opening/closing issues to the management team

• Assist studio management with daily studio tasks and projects

• Share knowledge and best practices with staff

• Maintain key control for the studio

• Handle opening and/or closing and ensure checklists are completed daily

• Support instructors with a successful class check-in process

• Work with all studio staff to maintain efficiency and camaraderie

• Provide high-level customer service and hospitality

• Assign tasks to part-time staff when necessary

• Manage retail area and visuals to maintain an optimal selling space

• Complete additional manager system duties (e.g., returns)

• Assist with training and coaching new front desk hires

• Maintain product knowledge for studio retail operations

• Maintain the studio’s distinct brand aesthetic, atmosphere, and culture

Requirements

• Customer service experience

• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to initiate tasks without direction

• Excellent communication skills across diverse personalities

• Outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills

• Positive, can-do attitude

• Friendly and professional phone and email etiquette

• Superior organizational skills

• Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule

• Physical ability to kneel, bend, reach, climb, and stand for long durations

• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs
