Description

You’ll help build the deterministic, auditable layer underneath hiring agents that must be correct and accountable for real-world worker eligibility and compliance workflows. Work includes extending the ontology and policy/automation framework and enabling agents through APIs and an MCP server, then deploying compliance workflows as code with customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Extend the engine: ontology, policy engine, and automations framework

• Make agents first-class callers through APIs and an MCP server

• Build an agent that writes configuration from policies, union contract terms, or customer requests

• Embed with customers and partners to implement compliance workflows as code

• Grow the ecosystem via partnerships with hiring platforms, staffing systems, and HR software distributors

• Tell the story: define a public category and publish/teach how compliance gets done in the agent era

• Make developers love it: build sandbox, quickstart, docs, and open-source packages

Requirements

• Proven ability to build and ship real software systems

• Use AI tools daily as a force multiplier

• Strong commitment to correctness for compliance-critical outcomes

• Own outcomes end-to-end (not just tasks)

• Ability and willingness to get close to customers who use the product

• Plain communication style: short, conviction-first updates; correct quickly

• Strong signal: experience in HR tech, staffing, payroll, developer platforms, or employment compliance
