Description

Join a founding team building an AI-driven platform for the life sciences industry. You will own end-to-end feature delivery and contribute daily code using AI assistance for productivity. The role emphasizes scalability, engineering best practices, and mentoring, with live customers expected within your first year.

Responsibilities

• Own all stages of feature implementation: design, development, deployment, production support, and maintenance
• Collaborate with Product Management and Development on technical design and problem-solving
• Rapidly analyze complex problems to reach robust solutions
• Define and mentor engineering best practices and coding standards for AI-assisted engineering
• Provide comprehensive code reviews across experience levels
• Develop engineering talent through structured mentorship

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven production-level Python development
• Extensive experience building high-scale enterprise SaaS cloud applications
• Proven track record architecting and building high-volume products at scale
• Hands-on open-source development experience including Python, Git, FastAPI, Pydantic
• Comfort in a fast-paced startup environment and ability to adapt quickly
• Proven ability to mentor and elevate team performance
• High work ethic and integrity; strong alignment with mission and values
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Unrestricted right to work in the United States (no sponsorship)
