Description

You will administer, operate, and further develop Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud infrastructure with a focus on cloud networking, connectivity, and hybrid architectures. The role includes planning, designing, and optimizing network connectivity between on-premises, Azure, and Microsoft 365 while ensuring performance, stability, and security. You will also own cloud network and security architectures, identity/access management, Microsoft 365 services, and automate operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer, operate, and develop Azure and Microsoft 365 infrastructure (cloud networking, connectivity, hybrid architectures)

• Plan, design, and optimize network connectivity between on-premises, Azure, and Microsoft 365

• Own cloud network architectures and security concepts (Hub-Spoke, network segmentation, Zero Trust, Private Endpoints, NSG, Azure Firewall)

• Manage and optimize identity and access management (Entra ID/Azure AD, Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC)

• Operate and optimize Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online) considering traffic flows and user experience

• Automate and standardize operational processes (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Infrastructure as Code) and support complex cloud/hybrid troubleshooting

Requirements

• Completed IT training (e.g., Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or comparable qualification

• Several years of experience operating Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, ideally with cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, and Microsoft 365 services

• Strong experience with Azure Networking, Identity & Access Management, and network security in cloud/hybrid environments

• Plus: initial experience with cloud security services, automation, or Infrastructure as Code (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bicep, Terraform)

• Helpful but not required: AZ-104 or Microsoft 365 Administrator certifications

• Helpful: classic networking knowledge (Cisco, routing/switching, VLAN, firewalls)
