Description

The position is responsible for planning and coordinating information security and the full lifecycle of unique enterprise network systems and workstations—installation, testing, modification, upgrading, operations, troubleshooting, and integration. You will provide cybersecurity technical guidance to engineers and senior IT specialists and maintain liaison with manufacturers and cybersecurity experts regarding current security products and advancements. The role also requires strict adherence to security regulations and proper control and safeguarding of classified material.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as Network Services and System Administrator / Cybersecurity expert

• Provide cybersecurity technical guidance and instruction to engineers and senior IT specialists

• Serve as Senior System Administrator / Information Technology

• Liaise with manufacturers, professional organizations, and cybersecurity specialists at other installations regarding state-of-the-art technologies and products

• Ensure security regulations are followed and classified material is controlled and secured at all times

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI access

• Male applicants must be registered for Selective Service

• Pass initial and periodic short-notice drug testing

• Ability to work shifts and/or overtime and irregular hours as needed

• Ability to travel occasionally away from the normal duty station (including overnight stays)

• Meet OPM qualification standards for GS-2210 (IT Management Series), including required education/experience for GS-07/09/11/12 levels
