Description

You will analyze security-relevant events and help respond to IT security incidents. The role focuses on shaping the IT security infrastructure and detection systems and coordinating interfaces with the Managed Security Operations Center (SOC), information security management, and firewall operations. You will work in a specialized team with onboarding and qualification.

Responsibilities

• Analyze security-relevant events and respond to IT security incidents

• Design the IT security infrastructure and detection systems

• Build and manage interfaces to the Managed SOC team, information security management, and the firewall operations team

Requirements

• Completed relevant university degree (Master/university diploma) with grade at least “good” (or “satisfactory” plus 5+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience)

• Clear, objective, and respectful communication with colleagues and external partners

• Digital competence to understand and classify developments in a digital environment

• Openness to project work; ideally workshop facilitation/moderation, agile working, or project management experience

• Good English skills

• Eligibility under the applicable federal provisions (including EU/EEA/Swiss citizenship) and willingness to uphold the free democratic basic order

• Willingness to undergo an enhanced security clearance before employment

• German at least C1 (CEFR)

• Willingness to travel, including multi-day trips
