Description

Provide supply support for production, overhaul, repair, and other operations involving equipment and parts needing special handling. Coordinate program requirements for urgent and shortage items, determine appropriate stock levels for specialized non-recurring items, and maintain property accountability and supply transaction documentation. Create and edit letters, reports, memos, and other textual documents using word-processing software.

Responsibilities

• Support supply operations for equipment/parts requiring special handling
• Maintain customer and office contact for urgent/critical shortage and special items
• Determine stock levels for specialized non-recurring items
• Perform property accountability and management
• Handle document control for supply transactions
• Respond to visitor and telephone inquiries about supply problems
• Use word-processing software to create, format, modify, edit, and print documents

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship
• Specialized experience: 1 year using an automated supply system; ensuring supplies meet regulatory standards; maintaining supply/inventory records
  • OR 9 semester hours of graduate education in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management or Logistics)
  • OR a qualifying combination totaling at least 100% of the requirements
• Qualified typist: 40 words per minute (5-minute sample, three or fewer errors)
• Background investigation/suitability and fitness determination
• Personnel Security Investigation
• Pre-placement medical exam
• Immunization screening (including Hepatitis B for direct patient contact) and other required immunizations
• Current BLS certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Tuberculosis testing
• Seasonal influenza vaccination consent or recognized exemption
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
