Description

Support optimal resource decisions across civil engineering activities by ensuring geospatial and engineering data are applied to the Asset Management Plan (AMP) and other investment and execution plans. Serve as Flight SME and GIS point of contact, maintain engineering progress and close-out warranty management databases, and prepare complete facility drawing sets using CAD. Manage the Utility Protection Program (E103 dig permit) while complying with health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Act as Flight subject matter expert (SME) and GIS point of contact (POC)
• Develop and maintain an integrated Operations Flight and Engineering Flight progress and final close-out warranty management database program
• Independently prepare and complete entire sets or groups of drawings for new construction and facility modifications/renovations using CAD
• Update drawings from prior projects to capture work performed
• Manage and execute the Utility Protection Program (E103 dig permit program)
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental rules and procedures

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required
• Meet specialized experience (at least 1 year at GS-08 equivalent) or 2 years of directly related graduate education/obtain a master’s degree
• Position requires color vision and a valid driver’s license
• Obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance or favorable background check
• Pre-employment physical required
• Ability to meet federal employment conditions (including probationary/trial period terms)
