Description

Own day-to-day maintenance, configuration, and support of two production ADMS/SCADA environments in parallel: Emerson ADMS (AspenTech/OSI) and GE POA. You will configure SCADA points, build custom schematics/one-line displays, maintain database/model content, and support real-time operations on both platforms, including the dual-run period while both systems remain in service.

Responsibilities

• Perform dual maintenance across Emerson ADMS and GE POA (health checks, patching/upgrades, user support, issue resolution)

• Configure and maintain SCADA points end to end (analogs, status points, controls, accumulators; scaling, alarm limits, scan rates, deadbands, quality handling)

• Map telemetry from RTIEDs into both systems and support point-to-point checkout during commissioning

• Build and maintain custom schematics and one-line displays in display builder

• Maintain SCADA/network database (new devices, feeder reconfigurations, substation additions, point database cleanup)

• Troubleshoot real-time data issues (stale/bad quality points, control failures, front-end/communications issues) with operations and IT/OT support

• Keep changes consistent across both platforms during dual operation

Requirements

• Preferable hands-on administration/configuration experience with SCADA system and display/schematic tools

• Proven ability to configure SCADA points from field signal through RTU, front end, database point, and display/alarm

• Working knowledge of distribution operations (substations, feeders, switching devices, network topology)

• 2+ years in utility SCADA/ADMS support roles

• Bachelor’s in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
