Description

You will develop and long-term maintain a scalable, centralized control system to monitor, visualize, and manage distributed battery storage. Responsibilities include integrating Siemens S7-1500 controllers via industrial communication protocols, building user interfaces and dashboards, and implementing alarm/event management. You will also create data analysis functions and automated reporting for technical operations and management.

Responsibilities

• Concept, development, and further development of a central SCADA command-and-control system for decentralized battery storage systems

• Integration and connection of Siemens S7-1500 controllers using industrial communication protocols

• Development of central user interfaces and dashboards for monitoring and control of battery storage systems

• Implementation of intelligent alarm and event management

• Development of functions for analyzing and evaluating technical and economic KPIs

• Build automated reporting solutions for technical operations management and leadership reporting

• Close collaboration with OT network development for secure and reliable system integration

Requirements

• Degree or comparable qualification in automation engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science

• Multi-year experience in the development and integration of industrial SCADA systems

• Solid knowledge of SCADA platforms such as Siemens WinCC OA, WinCC Unified, or Ignition

• Experience with Siemens S7-1500 and industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA or Modbus TCP

• Knowledge of databases, visualization, and automated reporting solutions

• Analytical, independent, and structured way of working
