Description

Lead the technical direction and architecture for an AI-powered Build agent platform that enables anyone to create games by describing them on mobile and in Studio. Own the end-to-end agent stack, including workflow orchestration, model integration and routing, tool execution, sandboxed environments, large-scale evaluations, and the reliability, safety, and cost systems required for massive creator growth.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and long-term roadmap for the Build agent platform.
• Design for reliability, safety, observability, and cost efficiency in production AI workloads (including usage metering and model-routing strategy).
• Define how agent quality is measured and build evaluation infrastructure to guide model, prompt, and skill decisions.
• Partner with Build product teams, ML infrastructure, and Safety to ship new capabilities quickly and safely.
• Raise the engineering bar through design reviews, mentorship, and hands-on technical leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems with technical leadership across multiple teams.
• Deep experience designing backend platforms used by other engineering teams.
• Hands-on production AI/ML experience (model serving, orchestration, LLM integration, or agentic execution loops).
• Strong understanding of tool and skill design and structured evaluation for AI systems.
• Judgment to weigh tradeoffs and make pragmatic calls under ambiguity.
• BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical direction to engineers, product, and leadership.
