Description

Develop and maintain research and/or clinical applications by translating requirements into software features. Implement code changes, create test suites (unit, integration, and end-to-end), document technical work, and maintain existing software. Work includes full-stack development and deployment to on-premise and/or cloud-native infrastructure, under close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Code new software features and translate requirements into implementations

• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end test suites

• Write technical documentation

• Maintain existing software applications

• Participate in full-stack development (front-end, back-end, cloud, or high-performance computing)

• Deploy applications for on-premise and/or cloud-native infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field required

• Solid computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis

• Knowledge of professional engineering practices: coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations

• Ability to participate in development and maintenance under close supervision

• Proficiency in at least one full-stack component (front-end, back-end, cloud, or high-performance computing)

• Able to deploy software applications to on-premise and/or cloud-native infrastructure

Benefits

Pay range: $86,300.00 – $98,500.00.
