Description

You will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable microservices for a cloud-native retail management platform. The role covers backend web APIs and modern front-end interfaces in an Azure-hosted microservices architecture, including REST API integrations and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable microservices using .NET Core for backend web APIs and Angular for front-end web interfaces
• Maintain and optimize MS SQL data structures; use Azure AI Search; support applications hosted on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Service Bus, Blob Storage, Azure Front Door, and Application Insights
• Integrate storeLink microservices with external systems via REST APIs, including custom rendering engines (e.g., UE2) for PDF and PNG media generation
• Manage GitHub version control; build and release pipelines using GitHub Actions; triage and resolve escalated production issues with L2 support
• Implement unit/automated integration tests; adhere to internal security and SOX 404 controls; participate in Agile code reviews and estimation

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering (or related) with 4+ years of software development experience (or MS with 1+ year)
• Proven experience with .NET Core, C#, Angular, and RESTful web APIs within a microservices architecture
• Strong MS SQL / T-SQL development skills including schema design, query optimization, and managed database instances
• Practical Azure experience with AKS, Azure Service Bus, Blob Storage, and Application Insights
• Experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions
• Strong debugging and analytical skills to resolve complex issues and communicate designs to engineering leadership
• Ability to implement automated testing and follow internal security and SOX 404 controls
