Description

Design, develop, and implement scalable workflow automation and business process orchestration solutions using Camunda 8. Build and maintain BPMN-based workflows and DMN decision models, integrate them with Java microservices, and deploy containerized applications on Google Cloud Platform Kubernetes environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise workflow automation solutions using Camunda 8.x (Zeebe, Tasklist, Operate, Optimize)
• Develop and maintain BPMN workflows and DMN decision models for orchestration
• Build scalable backend services and REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Integrate Camunda workflows with enterprise applications, databases, and third-party systems
• Develop external task workers and job workers using Java
• Configure process execution, retries, error handling, and workflow monitoring
• Deploy and manage Camunda-based applications on Google Cloud Platform
• Work with Kubernetes (GKE), Docker, and Helm for containerized deployments
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation for build, testing, and deployment
• Troubleshoot performance issues, workflow failures, and production incidents
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and Agile development activities

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development and enterprise application development
• Strong hands-on experience with Camunda 8.x
• Java development experience (Java 8/11/17 or higher)
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot/Spring Framework and microservices
• Strong understanding of BPMN 2.0 and DMN
• Experience with Zeebe workflow engine and Camunda 8 architecture
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations
• Strong DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with GKE and cloud-native deployment on Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with Helm, Git, and Maven/Gradle
• Knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and messaging platforms
