Description

You will develop and maintain backend services for banking applications for individual customers. The work includes designing and implementing new functionalities with Java 21 and Spring Boot, automating and integrating business processes with internal and external systems, and building cloud-based solutions on GCP. You will ensure high code quality through code reviews, automation, and clean code, collaborating closely with architects, analysts, testers, and the frontend team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend for banking applications

• Design and implement new features with Java 21 and Spring Boot

• Create, improve, and automate business processes and integrate them with internal and external systems

• Build cloud solutions on GCP using Kubernetes, containers, and Helm

• Collaborate end-to-end with architects, analysts, testers, and the frontend team (Angular2+)

• Maintain high code quality via code review, automation, and clean code best practices

• Participate actively in technology decisions and guide the solution’s further development

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Java development (preferably Java 11+; experience with Java 17/21 welcome)

• Very good knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot and backend application architecture

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other) and JPA/Hibernate

• Practical knowledge of cloud solutions and container environments (Kubernetes, Docker/Containers, Helm)

• Hands-on experience with messaging/streaming systems (e.g., Apache Kafka)

• Communication skills and teamwork; willingness to share knowledge
