Description

Design, develop, and maintain mission-driven full stack applications for a cleared customer. Work across React/TypeScript front ends, Node.js/Java/Python REST APIs, PostgreSQL data layers, and Docker/OpenShift deployments, while troubleshooting issues across the stack.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, Java, Python, and PostgreSQL

• Build reusable React components and manage state and asynchronous workflows with Redux

• Develop backend services and REST APIs with validation, error handling, and authentication/authorization integration

• Use Pydantic for data validation and SQLAlchemy for ORM in Python services

• Maintain PostgreSQL schemas, queries, indexes, and database migrations with performance and data integrity focus

• Build and troubleshoot Docker images; deploy and support applications on OpenShift

• Investigate and resolve production issues across UI, backend, database, and deployment

• Partner with customers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, dependencies, and effort estimates

• Participate in technical design and code reviews; write automated tests and maintain technical documentation

• Mentor developers; collaborate with operations and security teams to support reliable delivery

Requirements

• TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Clearance

• 13 years of experience in Software or Systems Engineering (or equivalent scope)

• Bachelor’s degree may substitute for 4 years; Master’s degree may substitute for 6 years

• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript

• Strong experience building REST APIs with Node.js and TypeScript

• Experience with backend services using Java and Python

• Proficiency in PostgreSQL (modeling, SQL, migrations, indexing, query optimization)

• Hands-on Docker experience (Dockerfiles, image builds, container troubleshooting)

• Strong communication skills to translate business/customer needs into technical requirements
