Description

Build and ship production-grade products end-to-end, with a strong TypeScript/React front end and Node.js/NestJS backend services. Work with GraphQL (including subscriptions and Apollo), PostgreSQL, and authentication via Auth0 (or equivalent). Leverage event-driven patterns using Redis and Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Develop component-based front-end features with TypeScript and React

• Build modular, tested backend services using Node.js and NestJS

• Design and implement GraphQL schemas, resolvers, and subscriptions

• Optimize database interactions with PostgreSQL and ORM layers

• Integrate authentication using Auth0 (or equivalent identity platform)

• Implement event-driven messaging patterns with Redis and Kafka (or similar)

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production-grade products end-to-end

• Strong TypeScript/React skills (component architecture, state management, hooks, performance)

• Backend experience with Node.js and NestJS building modular, tested services

• GraphQL experience (schema design, resolvers, subscriptions; Apollo client/server)

• Familiarity with API gateway patterns (e.g., Apigee or equivalent)

• PostgreSQL proficiency (query optimization, schema design; TypeORM/Prisma)

• Auth0 (or equivalent identity platforms)

• Familiarity with Redis and Kafka (or similar) for event-driven/message-queue patterns
