Description

Support enterprise banking applications by designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based systems and RESTful services. Build and enhance microservices for scalability and performance, and collaborate on user-facing features using Angular and JavaScript. Contribute to secure, reliable solutions in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications supporting critical banking operations

• Build and enhance RESTful services and microservices for scalability, performance, and integration

• Develop backend components using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Maven

• Partner with front-end developers to deliver responsive features using JavaScript and Angular

• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries

• Collaborate on technical solution design, code reviews, and production issue resolution

• Use GitHub and version control practices for team-based development

• Participate in technical design discussions to implement secure, dependable software

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience, including senior-level Java technologies

• Strong Core Java expertise for enterprise-grade backend applications

• Proven REST API development and REST API design experience

• Microservices architecture experience

• Hands-on Spring, Spring Boot, and Maven in production environments

• Proficiency in JavaScript and Angular

• Strong SQL skills, including optimizing complex queries

• Experience with GitHub or similar version control tools

• Banking industry experience preferred
