Description

You will build service-layer backend systems that interface upstream data from backend services to front-end components. The work includes designing REST APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger, implementing in TypeScript (Node.js) with NestJS, and deploying to AWS. You will also ensure secure access via IAM, manage infrastructure with CloudFormation, and deliver high-quality unit tests with a 100% coverage gate.

Responsibilities

• Develop service-layer backend interfaces between upstream backend data and front-end components
• Design REST APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger
• Implement backend logic in TypeScript using NestJS (DI framework)
• Write Jest unit tests that meet a 100% coverage gate
• Use Git feature-branch and pull-request workflows with CI gates
• Build and deploy services on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, ECS)

Requirements

• 5+ years backend development
• Node.js + TypeScript (primary language)
• NestJS or comparable DI framework
• REST API design with OpenAPI/Swagger
• AWS: Lambda, API Gateway, S3, ECS, Secrets Manager
• CloudFormation / infrastructure-as-code
• Jest unit testing with ability to sustain a 100% coverage gate
• Git feature-branch + pull-request workflow with CI gates
