Description

You will build and deliver highly scalable, performant B2C features on a large distributed systems platform, working across architecture, design, implementation, and testing. The role covers developing application code to acceptance criteria, collaborating on designs, creating stories and data mappings, and building thorough automated test coverage. You will work with Product Owners and subject matter experts to clarify requirements and success criteria.

Responsibilities

• Develop application code that meets acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with Architects on designs via code/design reviews
• Produce technical designs, including automation strategies
• Work with Product Owners to clarify story functionality and with SMEs for guidance
• Develop stories, data mappings, test cases, and success criteria
• Build and deploy code through approved channels
• Test using automated unit, integration, functional, acceptance, performance, and smoke tests
• Commit to iteration goals

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Extensive full-stack experience with a strong understanding of the web application domain, backend systems, and LLMs
• Scalable feature design and implementation; knowledge of design patterns and industry best practices
• Commitment to engineering best practices: design, testing, documentation, and code reviews
• Good knowledge of Java (or similar language)
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and database fundamentals
• Ability to analyze problems, design solutions, explain them to teammates, and deliver on time with high quality
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with cross-functional teams across geographies
