Description

Develop application code using established methods and meet acceptance criteria through the full delivery lifecycle. Collaborate with architects and the product owner to clarify functionality, build technical designs, and create data mappings, test cases, and success criteria. Ensure reliability by testing with automated unit, integration, functional, acceptance, performance, and smoke tests.

Responsibilities

• Develop application code to meet acceptance criteria
• Review and collaborate with architects on designs
• Develop technical designs, including automation strategies when needed
• Work with the product owner and SMEs to clarify story functionality
• Develop stories, data mappings, test cases, and success criteria
• Build and deploy code through approved channels
• Test using automated unit, integration, functional, acceptance, performance, and smoke tests
• Commit to iteration goals

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Extensive full-stack programming experience and strong web application domain knowledge
• Strong backend systems knowledge and understanding of LLMs
• Scalable feature design and implementation experience; knowledge of design patterns and industry best practices
• Commitment to engineering best practices: design, testing, documentation, and code reviews
• Good knowledge of Java or a similar language
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and databases
• Ability to analyze problems, design solutions, explain them to teammates, and deliver on time
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with cross-functional teams across geographies
