Description

This locum tenens Hospitalist position provides scheduled daytime coverage in New Ulm, MN from January through April 2027, starting January 11, 2027 for a 6-month assignment. The clinician will round and admit patients, including CCU “bread-and-butter” care and ventilator management in the CCU until transfer. Code responses are managed by the hospitalist or a 24/7 on-site Emergency Department physician.

Responsibilities

• Rounding and admissions
• CCU coverage, including bread-and-butter cases
• Ventilator management in the CCU until transfer
• Manage code responses (with support as outlined)

Requirements

• Board Certified in General Practice, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Minimum 1 year of hospitalist experience
• Active Minnesota medical license OR active IMLC Compact license
