Description

This role provides functional leadership for SAP S/4HANA processes supporting Procurement & Warehouse across global environments, covering end-to-end Source-to-Pay and Warehouse Execution. You will design, implement, and optimize integrated, scalable supply-chain solutions and serve as the primary contact for warehouse and procurement stakeholders. The position works closely with supply chain, warehouse operations, purchasing, logistics, and IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Functional leadership for SAP S/4HANA solution delivery across:

  • SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
  • SAP MM-PUR (Purchasing/Source & Supply)
  • End-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Warehouse Execution processes

• Act as the primary business contact for warehouse and procurement stakeholders

• Design and configure EWM processes: inbound/outbound transactions, putaway/picking strategies, inventory management, physical inventory, and yard/value-added services (as needed)

• Support integrations with SAP TM, SAP SD, and SAP MM; enable automation and RF/mobile solutions

• Design and configure purchasing/sourcing processes: purchase requisitions and purchase orders, source determination and supplier management, goods receipt, and invoice verification

• Support integrations with Finance (FI/AP), inventory management, and QM (quality)

• Ensure procurement solutions align with compliance, audits, and internal controls

• Own functional scope, timelines, and risks for EWM and procurement implementations

• Lead solution workshops for standardization, requirements gathering, and functional design

• Oversee functional configuration, unit testing, integration testing, and UAT; coordinate releases using multiple test versions

• Coordinate data migration activities for suppliers, purchasing info records, and warehouse master data

• Improve process design and interfaces related to sales and logistics (IDoc, API, EDI)

• Drive global process standardization with global templates while supporting regional requirements

• Integrate Assure Partners AMS and SI for issues related to SAP usage and functionality

• Develop and run test scenarios to support regression testing and local improvement initiatives

• Maintain high-quality process and configuration documentation and help keep global processes well-documented

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or information systems

• 8+ years of experience configuring SAP EWM and procurement (MM-PUR)

• Strong hands-on SAP MM procurement experience, including inbound/outbound warehouse-related processes

• Strong focus on sales planning agreements and related processes (third-party sales, consignment, STO, and warehouse management processes: EWM/WM)

• Proven EDI mapping experience (inbound/outbound goods, ASN, JIT, planning agreements, inventory, MRP, transportation, inbound goods management)

• Ability to lead and train people

• SAP MM/WM/EWM certifications supporting procurement-to-payment and/or make-to-stock and related SAP solutions are a plus

• Experience as SAP consultant or internal SAP lead on projects

• Experience implementing/supporting SAP in electronics manufacturing or OEM environments

• S/4HANA experience in global manufacturing and multinational contexts is highly preferred; S/4HANA + Fiori is a plus

• Global implementation/support experience (USA, Europe, LatAm, Asia) is a plus
