Description

Work on scalable SAP Production Planning solutions in SAP ERP/S4HANA, designing integrated end-to-end architectures across SAP modules and third-party systems. Lead implementations and customization for SAP PP/PP-DS, manage the full project lifecycle, and ensure adoption through workshops and knowledge transfer. Troubleshoot complex functional and integration issues and continuously recommend enhancements aligned with S/4HANA innovations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements and design scalable SAP Production Planning solutions

• Design integrated end-to-end architectures connecting SAP S/4HANA PP with SAP MM, QM, PM, SD and third-party systems (MES, APS, LIMS, etc.)

• Promote and enforce industry best practices and long-term operational excellence

• Lead implementation and customization for SAP PP modules (PP, PP-DS) aligned with manufacturing strategies, planning processes, and KPIs

• Oversee the lifecycle: conceptual design/blueprint, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, hypercare, stabilization

• Run workshops, training, and knowledge-transfer activities for end-user adoption

• Troubleshoot complex issues (MRP/MRP Live, capacity planning, shop floor execution, BOM/routing consistency, MES or APO/PP-DS integration)

• Evaluate and recommend system enhancements based on S/4HANA innovation (e.g., MRP Live, embedded PP-DS, predictive MRP)

• Collaborate with technical teams; provide functional specifications; participate in ABAP debugging; validate integrations via IDocs, BAPIs, APIs

Requirements

• 10+ years experience as SAP Consultant or Business Solution Architect with focus on SAP ERP/S4HANA Production Planning

• Leadership in at least 2 greenfield implementations as PP Team Lead or Business Solution Architect (at least one on S/4HANA)

• Expert-level knowledge of SAP PP: MRP/MRP Live, BOMs, routings, work centers, production orders, planning strategies, capacity planning, and integration with MM, QM, SD, PM

• Solid experience with ABAP debugging and integration technologies (IDocs, RFC, APIs); MES or APS integration is a plus

• Strong problem-solving/analytical skills with excellent communication and stakeholder management

• English proficiency (B2+)

Nice to have

• SAP PP-DS experience (embedded or classic APO)

• Relevant SAP certifications in SAP ECC/S/4HANA Production Planning and PP-DS
