Description

You will structure and deliver geotechnical tenders for field investigations on earth-cable routes. You will manage and coordinate exploration campaigns and external/internal stakeholders, ensure quality of field, laboratory, and documentation work, and provide geotechnical and hydrogeological advice for deep construction and land cable installation. You will also support permitting processes and help develop standardized processes.

Responsibilities

• Structure and carry out geotechnical tenders for field investigations on earth-cable routes
• Award engineering/surveying/laboratory services and take technical contractual responsibility
• Coordinate campaign management, including supervision and support of construction oversight, technical experts, drilling/surveying companies, and other campaign participants
• Conduct on-site meetings within the project area
• Ensure quality of field, laboratory, and documentation work
• Provide geotechnical and hydrogeological consulting for deep construction and land cable installation
• Coordinate and communicate with internal and external interfaces
• Contribute to permitting processes
• Contribute to development of processes and standardizations

Requirements

• Degree in geosciences, geotechnics, civil engineering, geo-resources management, environmental sciences, or a related field (or equivalent qualification)
• Several years of experience in line-based infrastructure projects and solid knowledge of geotechnical requirements for implementation
• Experience preparing geotechnical concepts and reports and accompanying/implementing exploration and laboratory services
• Experience managing service providers and project management
• Experience communicating with relevant authorities
• Confident demeanor, strong communication skills, and ability to assert decisions
• Ability to work independently, high sense of responsibility, and teamwork in interdisciplinary project teams
