Description

You will provide local construction supervision for earthworks, HDD, and road construction, ensuring quality, schedule, and cost-compliant execution. You verify work against approved plans, specifications, and applicable standards, coordinate contractors and stakeholders, and document progress with site logs and reporting. You also support joint measurements, invoice review preparation, acceptance/commissioning handovers, and anti-claim management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction execution for earthworks, HDD, and road construction according to performance descriptions, execution documents, technical regulations (DIN, VOB, VDE), environmental requirements, and safety rules.

• Check services and materials against the scope of work; document defects and monitor remediation, including after acceptance.

• Instruct and coordinate executing companies and project participants (e.g., cable construction, environmental construction supervision, archaeological construction support, SiGeKo) and align with contractors, planners, and the client.

• Secure the construction start, perform evidence preservation (Beweissicherung) of areas, paths, and roads, and hand over the construction site.

• Document construction progress with a site diary and photos, attend construction meetings, and produce reports, including support for monthly reporting.

• Create joint measurement records (Aufmaß), review them, prepare invoice review checks, participate in acceptance, commissioning, and handovers, and support change requests and anti-claim management.

Requirements

• Completed degree in civil engineering, architecture, or comparable qualification

• Long-term experience in on-site construction supervision for deep construction or a similar function

• Strong deep construction knowledge, ideally in utilities, cable work, or infrastructure construction

• Confident knowledge of VOB, DIN, and VDE, plus experience coordinating construction sites

• Independent, structured working style

• Driver’s license, Class B, and willingness to be present at the construction site daily
