Description

The consultant contributes to maintaining an insurance-life contracts management application portfolio using confirmed technical expertise. They work with business, infrastructure, and production stakeholders and take part in new project developments. The role covers requirements definition, maintenance/project management, user support, technical specification writing, unit design/development/testing, and deliverable/operations documentation.

Responsibilities

• Define and analyze needs with users

• Manage maintenance requests and projects

• Provide user support

• Estimate workload

• Write detailed technical specifications

• Design, develop, and perform unit tests

• Document deliverables and write operational run documentation

• Report to the manager and the project team

Requirements

• COBOL (majority of development)

• DB2

• AS400 native: CLP, SDA, SEU, RLU, Query, SQL

• Excel and Word

• Strong analytical ability and ability to write detailed specifications

• Good stakeholder management and adaptability

• Autonomy
