Description

Design and develop the DvP orchestration engine coordinating asset and digital-cash settlement legs for matched trades. Implement robust settlement state management across the transaction lifecycle, including atomicity, idempotency, retries, exception handling, and recovery, and integrate settlement flows with Taurus, cash-leg capabilities, blockchain/smart contracts, and downstream market infrastructure. Contribute to end-to-end settlement testing, failure and recovery scenarios, reconciliation, and production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the DvP orchestration engine for matched trades
• Implement settlement state management, atomicity, idempotency, retry mechanisms, exception handling, and recovery across the transaction lifecycle
• Integrate settlement flows with Taurus, cash-leg capabilities, blockchain/smart contracts, and downstream market infrastructure
• Support end-to-end settlement testing, including failure and recovery scenarios
• Support reconciliation, performance optimisation, and production-readiness activities

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience designing and developing transaction-processing, orchestration, or settlement solutions
• Understanding of DvP settlement concepts, transaction lifecycles, state management, atomicity, idempotency, and resilient distributed-system design
• Experience integrating complex systems through APIs, messaging, event-driven architectures, or comparable integration patterns
• Experience with blockchain, distributed-ledger, or smart-contract integrations, ideally within financial services or market infrastructure
• Ability to support testing, troubleshooting, reconciliation, and production readiness across complex transaction lifecycles
