• Role: Senior Java Developer (Embedded Banking / Payments Service Area)

Description

You will join a newly formed Scrum team and be responsible for designing and developing modern microservices for the payments domain. The work focuses on building distributed, secure, high-performance banking systems. You’ll use Java and Spring technologies along with relational databases and event-driven components.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new services
• Build and maintain highly available, scalable, high-performance distributed applications
• Work in Agile/Scrum, including iteration planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Requirements

• 6+ years of commercial Java development experience
• Practical knowledge of Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and relational databases (PostgreSQL and/or Db2)
• Experience designing and developing microservice architecture
• Ability to use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
• Experience designing and building distributed systems with high throughput
• English communication skills
• Knowledge of Kafka, CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, Maven, and JUnit
