Description

The project modernizes and upgrades an enterprise Alfresco platform from version 23.x to 26.x, built on an extensive layer of customizations. You will support upgrade planning, analyze compatibility of existing customizations, and help manage migration, testing, remediation, and go-live stabilization. The platform includes Alfresco Content Services (ACS), Alfresco Process Services (APS), Alfresco Content Application (ACA/ADF), and Alfresco Governance Services (AGS).

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and executing the Alfresco upgrade from 23.x to 26.x

• Analyze existing customizations for compatibility with the target version

• Identify potential issues and recommend remediation approaches

• Plan and support migration activities

• Contribute to testing, remediation, and production environment readiness

• Support the team during go-live and post go-live stabilization

• Collaborate with client technical teams and stakeholders

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of ACS, APS, AGS, and ACA/ADF

• Deep understanding of Alfresco architecture, extension mechanisms, and customization patterns

• Practical Java + Spring programming experience

• Practical experience with Records Management, especially Physical Records Management

• Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker

• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and experience delivering in enterprise environments

• Documented experience delivering Alfresco upgrades, including migration planning, testing, remediation, and go-live support

• Ability to assess compatibility of existing customizations with the target version

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a complex enterprise setting
