Description

Join a team developing NGSM, a next-generation system management platform for mission-critical radio communication networks. You’ll help design scalable backend microservices that integrate an intuitive user interface with robust backend services. The system runs in on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments and targets high availability, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java 21+ and Spring backend services and microservices

• Build scalable, highly available solutions for distributed environments

• Participate in architectural and technology decision-making

• Design and develop solutions using Kafka and Azure Event Hubs

• Work with cloud solutions (especially Microsoft Azure) and Kubernetes environments

• Design, develop, and optimize PostgreSQL databases

• Optimize application performance and resource usage

• Ensure code quality, readability, scalability, and maintainability

• Use Generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Google Gemini) in daily development, code reviews, and troubleshooting

• Automate tasks and work in a Linux environment

• Analyze and solve complex technical problems (performance, integration, orchestration)

• Collaborate on technical and architectural documentation

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java 21+

• Strong proficiency with Spring Framework / Spring Boot

• Strong OOP and Clean Code practices

• Experience designing and developing microservices architecture

• Experience with distributed systems

• Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure

• Practical Kubernetes experience

• Messaging systems experience, especially Apache Kafka and Azure Event Hubs

• Strong PostgreSQL knowledge including database design and optimization

• Experience optimizing performance of high-availability backend services

• Knowledge of Git and GitHub

• Practical use of AI development tools, especially GitHub Copilot and Google Gemini

• Practical Linux knowledge including scripting and automation

• Basic networking knowledge (protocols, routing, network services)

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

• English proficiency for technical communication and documentation
