Description

You will work on Microsoft Power BI solutions, translating business requirements into reporting needs, KPIs, and data models. The role covers building and maintaining reports, dashboards, semantic models, and dataflows/datasets, along with integrating Power BI with multiple sources (including SQL, SAP, and cloud). You will also ensure secure access (including RLS) and optimize performance for queries and refresh processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and convert them into reporting requirements, KPI definitions, and data models

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, dataflows, and datasets

• Integrate Power BI with data sources including SQL, SAP, and cloud solutions

• Configure and administer workspaces; manage publishing and report refresh

• Implement and maintain security mechanisms, including Row-Level Security (RLS) and access control

• Optimize performance of reports, data models, DAX queries, and refresh processes

• Create data transformations with Power Query and write SQL queries

• Participate in technical tests, incident analysis, and stabilization of deployed solutions

• Collaborate with IT, analytics, administration, architecture, and business teams

• Produce technical and functional documentation and share knowledge

Requirements

• 3–5 years of practical experience with Microsoft Power BI

• Very good knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Report Server

• Advanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query

• Very good knowledge of SQL and relational databases

• Practical data modeling experience (star schema, fact/dimension tables, defining relationships)

• Experience integrating Power BI with various data sources, especially SAP, SQL, and cloud solutions

• Knowledge of workspaces, data gateway, refresh schedules, permissions management, and RLS

• Experience optimizing reports, data models, and refresh processes

• Ability to create technical and functional documentation

• Ability to collaborate with both business and technical teams

• Communicative English

• Independence, good work organization, and initiative in identifying improvements
