Description

Design, build, and continuously improve Power BI reports and interactive dashboards to support business decision-making. You will develop data models and a semantic layer, create DAX measures/calculations, and optimize data transformation processes in Power Query. The role includes integrating data from multiple sources, publishing and managing solutions in Power BI Service, and supporting testing, deployment, and ongoing BI maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Design and create Power BI reports and interactive dashboards

• Build data models and prepare the semantic layer for reporting

• Write measures and calculations using DAX

• Prepare and optimize data transformation processes with Power Query

• Integrate data from various sources (databases, files, business systems)

• Translate business requirements into analytics solutions

• Optimize performance of reports, data models, and queries

• Publish and manage assets in Power BI Service

• Create and update technical and user documentation

• Support testing, rollout, and maintenance of Business Intelligence solutions

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Power BI Developer, BI Developer, or similar

• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Power BI

• Practical knowledge of DAX and Power Query

• Experience designing data models, including star schema

• Very good knowledge of SQL and relational databases

• Experience with integrating data from multiple sources and preparing ETL/ELT processes

• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and report design

• Experience with Power BI Service, workspaces, roles, and permissions

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (especially Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, or Microsoft Fabric—preferred)

• Analytical thinking, independent problem-solving, and client collaboration

• English at least B2
