Description

You will analyze project documentation and functional requirements to identify system functions and perform functional size measurements using IFPUG FPA. Your results will support estimation of effort, costs, and scope for IT projects. You will also verify the correctness and consistency of your measurements and justify the applied calculations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project documentation, functional requirements, and IT system descriptions

• Identify and classify system functions for function point measurement

• Perform functional size measurements according to IFPUG FPA

• Classify function types: EI, EO, EQ, ILF, EIF

• Determine function complexity and calculate function points per IFPUG Counting Practices Manual (CPM)

• Estimate functional size for new systems and changes in existing solutions

• Prepare documentation, reports, and measurement summaries

• Validate measurement correctness and consistency and provide rationale for calculations

• Support effort, cost, and schedule estimation for IT projects

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of IFPUG FPA (Function Point Analysis)

• Knowledge of IFPUG Counting Practices Manual (CPM)

• Ability to identify and classify EI, EO, EQ, ILF, EIF functions

• Experience analyzing functional requirements, system documentation, and business processes

• Ability to define function complexity and independently compute function point counts

• Experience estimating functional size for IT systems and for changes in existing solutions

• Ability to document results, justify calculations, and prepare reports

• Accuracy, analytical mindset, and ability to verify measurement correctness
