Description

Senior Business Analyst to support a large Business Intelligence transformation program. You will organize and evaluate the existing BI reporting and dashboard portfolio, determine business value and strategic fit, and prepare priority areas for migration to a target analytics platform. You will make evidence-based decisions on what should be kept, consolidated, migrated, replaced, moved to governed self-service, or decommissioned.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and validate the inventory of dashboards, reports, and other BI products to build a structured view of the current landscape

• Identify owners, user groups, geographic scope, data sources, business use, and dependencies

• Analyze usage levels and the business decisions each solution supports

• Identify gaps, duplicates, and inconsistencies across the BI portfolio

• For each BI product, assess business value, real usage, data quality, ownership, user groups, and strategic significance

• Support decisions to keep, consolidate, expand, migrate, replace, move to governed self-service, or retire solutions

• Assess business readiness and data readiness for priority migration areas

• Verify KPI, data sources, ownership, security, access, and data quality; define gap-closure plans

• Build migration roadmap waves and coordinate dependencies between business, data teams, and delivery teams

• Translate target needs into business requirements; define personas, use cases, KPI, business rules, and acceptance criteria

• Maintain traceability between business decisions, requirements, tests, and implementation

• Coordinate UAT, support rollout and adoption, and plan decommissioning of legacy dashboards; track risks and dependencies

Requirements

• Experience in large BI, Data, or Analytics environments

• Experience in multiple relevant areas: BI portfolio rationalization, dashboard/report migration or consolidation, enterprise analytics transformation, business analysis for data & analytics projects, data readiness assessment, requirements engineering, UAT & rollout, and decommissioning legacy solutions

• Ability to separate real business needs from user attachment to existing solutions

• Evidence-based recommendation skills using available data

• Independent, well-organized approach with ownership of a workstream

• Excellent communication with business stakeholders and data/technology teams across organizational levels

• Comfort working within complex, multi-stakeholder environments
