Description

Design and build secure, scalable backend applications and services using C#, .NET, and Microsoft Azure. Build and extend Microsoft Copilot Studio agents by creating REST APIs and integrating enterprise backend services, knowledge sources, and actions so client requirements become production-ready AI agents. Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders in an Agile, distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services (secure and well-tested)

• Build and integrate REST APIs for Copilot Studio agents

• Create Copilot Studio agents (topics, generative orchestration, knowledge sources, actions, agent flows)

• Write agent instructions and ground agents in enterprise knowledge sources

• Extend agents with custom connectors, REST APIs, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers

• Integrate backend services with business systems, databases, Microsoft Graph, and Dataverse

• Secure APIs and agent connections using Entra ID and OAuth 2.0; apply DLP and responsible AI practices

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions; deploy agents through Power Platform ALM

• Work with stakeholders in workshops and demos to refine requirements

• Collaborate with distributed project teams using Agile methodologies

Requirements

• 3+ years of .NET web development

• ASP.NET Core backend and API experience

• REST API design and integration experience

• Hands-on Copilot Studio agent building experience

• Azure hosting experience for .NET backends (Azure Functions, App Service, Key Vault)

• Entity Framework Core and relational database experience (SQL Server / Azure SQL)

• API security experience with Entra ID and OAuth 2.0

• Automated testing, clean code, design patterns, and modern architecture knowledge

• CI/CD pipeline experience using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions

• Prompt engineering experience for Copilot Studio agents

• Power Platform experience

• ALM understanding for Copilot Studio and Power Platform solutions

• Responsible AI, DLP, and data protection understanding for AI agents

• English B2 level (daily communication)
