Description

Build and evolve backend services for a wealth-management SaaS platform using C#/.NET on Azure. Model business domains using pragmatic DDD, implement REST APIs and financial data processing workflows, and ensure correctness, performance, and reliability. Use AI tools throughout development while critically validating results and integrating AI-powered functionality with backend services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using C#/.NET on Azure
• Use DDD to model business domains (rules, boundaries, and contracts)
• Build and maintain APIs, integrations, and financial data processing workflows
• Ensure correctness, performance, and reliability
• Make pragmatic technical decisions and contribute to architecture evolution
• Improve or modernize existing codebases where it adds real value
• Use AI tools across requirements analysis and implementation, with critical review and validation
• Coordinate with AI Engineers to integrate AI-powered functionality with backend services
• Own features end-to-end, including deployment and monitoring
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and other Engineers
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and improve team practices

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing backend applications with C#/.NET
• Strong knowledge of C#/.NET and ability to independently implement production features
• Practical experience with SQL/SQL Server/Azure SQL: data modeling, queries, transactions, and basic query optimization
• Experience with REST APIs/HTTP: endpoint implementation, validation, and error handling
• Practical understanding of DDD, SOLID, and common design patterns
• Experience with Azure App Service and/or Azure Functions
• Practical understanding of Azure services
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps/CI/CD
• Basic experience with unit and integration testing
• Ability to work with logs and monitoring tools to diagnose issues
• Basic understanding of asynchronous communication and Azure Service Bus
• Good problem-solving skills and structured approach to diagnosing issues
• Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written) and Polish
