Description

Join a team looking for a mid-level Java developer who can build high-performance backend services and integrate GenAI tools (e.g., Claude or Cline) into the workflow. You will design and maintain Java microservices and secure REST APIs, work in Docker/Kubernetes, and support CI/CD with monitoring via logs and health checks. You’ll also use AI coding assistants to speed up development while keeping code clean and maintainable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications and distributed microservices

• Build secure, reliable REST APIs for producers and consumers

• Work with Docker and Kubernetes in a containerized environment

• Manage CI/CD pipelines and monitor application health and logs

• Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development and write maintainable code

• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional Java/J2EE experience

• Strong background with Spring, Spring MVC, JPA, and Hibernate

• Practical experience with microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes

• Good database skills across Oracle, MySQL, and/or NoSQL

• Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Artifactory

• Hands-on familiarity with AI development tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Cline

• Solid communication skills and a collaborative approach

• Ability to complete an online assessment

• Ability to visit client offices at least once a week (hybrid)
