Description

Build scalable, responsive, and accessible user interfaces from UX/UI designs and integrate the application with backend services through REST APIs. You will use Vue 3 with the Composition API and TypeScript, contribute to front-end architecture, and help maintain a smooth user experience and system technical health. The role emphasizes clear communication of technical trade-offs and an MVP/experimentation mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, responsive, and accessible UIs from UX/UI designs

• Develop with Vue 3 (Composition API) and TypeScript

• Integrate with backend services and REST APIs

• Understand system architecture and code for scale

• Explain technical trade-offs clearly

• Adopt an MVP and experimentation mindset

• Perform unit testing, code reviews, and troubleshooting

Requirements

• 5+ years in frontend software development

• Hands-on Vue 3 (Composition API) and TypeScript experience

• Strong understanding of scalable and accessible UI development

• Experience integrating with backend services and REST APIs

• Ability to communicate effectively in professional English

• BSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Nice to Have

• Jest and Playwright for unit and end-to-end testing

• Familiarity with Python and AWS

• Experience in regulated sectors (pharma, biotech, finance)

• Exposure to scientific or research data products

• Machine learning or data science familiarity

• Search technology knowledge (Elasticsearch or OpenSearch)

• Experience with React or Angular alongside Vue 3
