Description

Build and evolve the Vue.js frontend of an AI-powered platform that supports nonclinical research through semantic search and automated document creation.

You will own the UI design, development, and evolution, working closely with UX/UI, backend, data, AI, infrastructure, and product teams in an international, cross-functional setup.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve scalable frontend applications using TypeScript and Vue.js
• Translate UX/UI designs and product requirements into responsive, accessible, and maintainable user experiences
• Contribute to frontend architecture and clearly communicate what can be built, scaled, and maintained
• Integrate the frontend with backend services, APIs, and search capabilities across the platform
• Build MVPs and experiment with new approaches while maintaining quality and long-term maintainability
• Support engineering quality through unit and end-to-end testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate across locations and disciplines to deliver solutions for researchers and scientific stakeholders

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in frontend software development
• Hands-on experience with Vue 3, TypeScript, Tailwind, Vite, Inertia.js, Vitest/Playwright, and Figma
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and Vue.js (or a similar SPA framework such as React or Angular)
• Experience with user interaction work: workshops, fast prototyping, and working with Figma
• Experience in a regulated industry and with complex data (ideally early-stage pharma research; finance/banking may be transferable)
• Broad understanding of software development, including system architecture and coding for scale
• Ability to explain technical possibilities and trade-offs to technical and non-technical colleagues
• Practical interest in experimentation and building MVPs
• Ability to work independently with strong ownership, openness to feedback, and reliability with deadlines
• BSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Willingness to provide a criminal record certificate

Preferred

• Scientific background or experience working with scientific users
• Experience building the frontend for RAG or agentic AI systems
