• Role: Senior Vue.js Developer

• Project: Long-term modernization of an existing web application for a pharmaceutical company

• Schedule: ASAP start; at least 1× per week onsite in Prague, otherwise remote

• Duration: Minimum 12 months (long-term expected)

Description

You will develop a modern frontend in Vue.js and TypeScript, progressively migrating the original monolithic application to a headless architecture.

The work includes implementing SSR with Nuxt, expanding and maintaining the design system, and improving performance (Core Web Vitals) and web accessibility (a11y).

You will also introduce automated frontend testing and collaborate with the Team Lead and development team.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern frontend components and features in Vue.js and TypeScript

• Perform step-by-step migration from the monolithic app to a headless architecture

• Implement SSR (Server-Side Rendering) using Nuxt

• Develop and maintain the design system

• Optimize application performance with a focus on Core Web Vitals

• Improve web accessibility (a11y)

• Introduce automated frontend testing

• Collaborate with the Team Lead and the broader development team

Requirements

• Advanced Vue.js knowledge with commercial experience

• Very good TypeScript knowledge

• Strong JavaScript (ES6+) skills

• Deep knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3

• Responsive design experience and mobile-first approach

• Experience with complex web applications

• Seniority, independence, and ability to propose technical solutions

• Communicative Czech language proficiency
