Description

Join a project for the insurance sector developing a modern claims and benefits system based on data, automation, workflow processes, and AI. You will design and maintain microservices, implement APIs and system integrations, and support scalable, reliable solutions. You’ll also use AI tools with an agentic AI approach across analysis, implementation, testing, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based systems
• Create and evolve APIs and integrations between systems
• Participate in solution design and implement functional and non-functional requirements
• Deliver scalable, high-performance, reliable solutions supporting business processes
• Develop automated tests and maintain high-quality, secure code
• Actively use AI tools and agentic AI methods in the software development lifecycle
• Participate in code reviews and help define software development standards
• Collaborate in a Scrum team and take part in agile events

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Java development experience
• Minimum 5 years with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate)
• Minimum 3 years with Apache Kafka
• Excellent knowledge of SQL
• Experience building and developing microservices-based applications
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks (JUnit/TestNG/Spock, Testcontainers/WireMock)
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and Functional Programming paradigms
• Experience containerizing applications
• Knowledge of process engines and BPMN notation
• Knowledge of resilience in distributed systems
• Experience with Angular and building frontend applications
• Ability to effectively use AI tools in the software development process
• Experience with performance analysis and application diagnostics
