Description

You will deliver services for an insurance industry project by building and evolving a modern, data-driven ecosystem for claims and benefits handling, including automation, AI, and workflow processes. The role includes designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs and system integrations, and improving business processes with scalable solutions. You will also ensure high software quality through automated testing, strong engineering practices, and code reviews while using AI/agentic AI throughout development.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop microservices and monolithic systems for claims reporting and handling processes

• Design, implement, and maintain APIs and integrations between systems

• Participate in solution and requirement implementation (functional and non-functional)

• Improve business processes through effective, scalable IT solutions

• Develop and maintain automated tests and follow engineering best practices to protect code quality

• Use AI/agentic AI tools during analysis, implementation, testing, and maintenance

• Perform and participate in code reviews focused on code quality and security

• Collaborate in Scrum ceremonies within a multidisciplinary Agile team

• Co-create software development and AI usage standards

• Work with a knowledge-sharing team focused on high-scale, high-transaction-volume systems

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of commercial experience with Java

• Very good knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA

• Very good knowledge of Apache Kafka

• Very good knowledge of SQL

• Knowledge of Angular

• Experience designing and developing microservices

• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs

• Experience creating unit and integration tests

• Ability to use AI tools supporting software development
