Description

As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will engineer and operate secure, resilient Azure platform capabilities using Infrastructure as Code and automated delivery practices. You will partner with platform engineering, application pods, security, and operations to deliver reusable cloud patterns, compliant services, and reliable CI/CD pipelines for safe and fast releases.

Responsibilities

• Engineer Azure foundation platform solutions using Infrastructure as Code (primarily Terraform)

• Design, document, develop, maintain, and evolve a reusable pattern library

• Integrate, configure, deploy, and manage shared cloud services (IAM, networking, monitoring, OS, containers)

• Manage Azure connectivity and networking (ExpressRoute, DNS, IP allocation, routing, NSGs, Azure Firewall)

• Implement hardened OS baselines for Linux and Windows

• Ensure compliance with centrally defined security controls and standards

• Follow operational risk standards across network, firewall, OS, logging, monitoring, availability, resiliency, and recovery

• Implement centrally provided patching requirements and support non-functional testing (performance, resilience, security)

• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles

• Troubleshoot and resolve platform and pipeline issues; collaborate to restore service and prevent recurrence

Requirements

• Hands-on experience engineering Azure platform services using Terraform (or equivalent IaC), including modular, reusable code

• Strong Azure networking experience: ExpressRoute, DNS, routing, NSGs, firewalls, IP management

• Experience integrating enterprise shared services (IAM, monitoring/logging, OS images)

• Proven capability building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices

• Working knowledge of security and operational risk controls in regulated environments (logging/monitoring, patching, hardening, resiliency)

• Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure, networking, and delivery pipelines

• Ability to produce clear technical documentation (designs, runbooks, operational procedures)
