Description

Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for delivering and evolving Azure infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for a mission-critical financial services application. You will develop Infrastructure as Code for core Azure services (including AKS, NSGs, databases, and VMs), modernize and optimize infrastructure, and help build scalable, secure solutions. You’ll collaborate with developers and QA to remove bottlenecks and improve engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IaC for Azure cloud resources, including AKS, NSGs, databases, and VMs
• Modernize and optimize infrastructure using best practices and emerging technologies
• Evaluate and integrate tools to streamline processes and improve scalability
• Engineer and implement scalable, reliable, and secure solutions (often from scratch)
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to identify bottlenecks and improve engineering workflows
• Support and evolve the engineering culture
• Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps with a previous technical background
• Linux systems administration background and shell scripting experience
• Expertise in Azure Cloud, including Azure CLI and ARM/Bicep templates
• Expertise in IaC tools such as Ansible
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines with GitLab
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes (K8S)
• Scripting/programming languages: Python, Bash, Kotlin, or PowerShell
• Familiarity with monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
• Understanding of security best practices
• Strong communication, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and adaptability
• English proficiency at B2 or higher

Nice to Have

• AZ-900 certification
• Knowledge of Terraform
